The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped today to its lowest amount since Feb. 13, decreasing nine-tenths of a cent to $2.811.
The average price has dropped 15 consecutive days, decreasing 13.5 cents, including one-tenth of a cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 7.2 cents less than one week ago, 14 cents lower than one month ago and 31.2 cents below what it was one year ago.
The Orange County average price today dropped to its lowest amount since Feb. 12, decreasing eight-tenths of a cent to $2.772.
The Orange County average price has dropped 19 consecutive days following a seven-day streak of increases. The Orange County average price has dropped 15.3 cents during the streak, including six-tenths of a cent on Monday.
The Orange County average price is 7.4 cents less than one week ago, 13.2 cents lower than one month ago and 30.7 cents below what it was one year ago.
