An investigation is underway into an alleged sexual assault at a USC fraternity house, it was reported Thursday night.
The incident was alleged to have occurred in October 2013, but was reported to authorities on Monday, the Los Angeles Times reported.
USC Department of Public Safety Deputy Chief David Carlisle told The Times the incident has been referred to the Los Angeles Police Department.
A campuswide crime alert quoted by The Times said other incidents from the same period are also being investigated. The alert referenced the possible use of a date rape drug in the 2013 assault, The Times reported.
Carlisle could not be immediately reached for comment after the close of usual business hours.
