Palisadian men, women and children are coming together for a “Palisades Community Gratitude BBQ” to salute local fire fighters and police officers. The event is hosted by the Chabad Jewish Community Center and will take place at their main campus, 17315 Sunset Blvd., on Sunday Aug. 27th from 4pm to 7pm.
Fire fighters from Palisades Stations 69 and 23, as well as police officers of the LAPD assigned to the Palisades, will be in attendance. Billed as a “salute to their selfless dedication to our community,” the event is an opportunity to express appreciation for the honor, sacrifice and commitment that local fire fighters and police officers have made to the Palisades. Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy a gourmet BBQ and entertainment for the whole family.
The event is being hosted by Chabad and the Palisades Jewish Early Childhood Center, and co-sponsored by many Palisades community organizations members including The American Legion, Rodeo Realty, Palisades Shell, Palisades Pride, Palisades Homeless Task Force and the Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce.
