LA’s Marina-the region’s premier watersports and boating destination-will transform into a pop-up arts district on June 10, 2017, with the debut of ARTsea, a community festival. Admission is FREE! Marina Beach will be bursting with creative offerings, including art installations, mini galleries, workshops, live music, dance performances, food trucks, and more.
The Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors partnered with Community Arts Resources (CARS) – the force behind CicLAvia, The Getty Museum Family Festivals, and Santa Monica Festival – to produce the event.
“We’re so excited to bring this free event for all ages to the Marina,” said Katie Bergin, CARS executive director. “We hope Angelenos will spend the day discovering great music and dance from LA, wonderful art, and delicious food set against an unforgettable backdrop of the beach and boats in the harbor.”
