Actor John Stamos will head to court on Friday morning following his arrest in Beverly Hills in June where he was allegedly driving under the influence of drugs.
He will be arraigned on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of drugs.
The 52-year-old was arrested in Beverly Hills on June 12 after police stopped his vehicle near Canon Drive and Brighton Way.
He was charged Wednesday with a misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of drugs. He will be arraigned on Friday at 8:30 a.m. at the Airport Branch courthouse in Los Angeles. The actor faces a possible maximum sentence of six months in county jail if convicted as charged.
The type of drug was not revealed by authorities, but TMZ.com reported that Stamos allegedly was under the influence of “GHB and another non-narcotic drug.” Stamos allegedly was taking GHB, the so-called date-rape drug, as a fitness supplement, TMZ reported.
Stamos, the former star of the Full House TV series, is currently starring in the TV show Grandfathered.
