More than 75 pounds of cocaine were seized along with cash and a handgun during a raid in Pasadena last week, police said Sunday.
One person was taken into custody during the service of a search warrant Thursday in the 1000 block of North Raymond Avenue, said the Pasadena Police Department watch commander, citing information from Police Chief Phillip Sanchez.
The warrant was the result of an ongoing narcotics investigation and the seized haul consisted of 35 kilograms, or 77 pounds, of cocaine, a large amount of currency and a semiautomatic handgun, the watch commander said.
Sanchez said the cocaine was likely destined for distribution in Pasadena and surrounding cities.
The name of the person taken into custody was not immediately available.
