Super Bowl coaches Mike Holmgren and Mike Martz will serve as coaches for the fourth annual NFLPA Collegiate Bowl which will be played Jan. 17 at StubHub Center.
The game is conducted by the National Football League Players Association to give players who recently completed their college careers an opportunity to showcase their talents to potential employers and to introduce the game’s more than 100 players to the association and business of the NFL.
Holmgren coached the Green Bay Packers from 1992-98, guiding them to a victory in Super Bowl XXXI in 1997. He also coached the Packers to Super Bowl XXXII in 1998 when they lost to the Denver Broncos.
Holmgren coached the Seattle Seahawks from 1999-2008, guiding them to Super Bowl XL in 2006 when they lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Martz coached the St. Louis Rams from 2000-2005, including a loss to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXVI in 2002.
