Two men in their 50s were stabbed by their nephews during an argument at a Thanksgiving dinner that escalated into a fight at a home in Anaheim, police said today.
One of the men was stabbed in the chest and the other in his arm. Paramedics took them both to an area hospital, said Anaheim police Lt. Bob Dunn.
“It was some sort of family dispute and it sounds like the injuries were minor,” said Anaheim police Sgt. Brian Brown.
Police were dispatched the scene in the 400 block of South Helena Street at 10:15 pm Thursday, Dunn said.
“The nephews had a long standing, bad relationship with these uncles,” he said. “An argument started, a fight ensued and then during the altercation the victims were stabbed. The nephews were arrested at the scene.”
Anaheim residents Richard Diaz, 34, and James Diaz, 22, were arrested on suspicion of felony assault, Dunn said.
