The entertainment industry’s seemingly never-ending awards season will be in the hands of teenagers tonight with the presentation of the 2014 Teen Choice Awards, honoring feats such as on-screen liplocks and hissy fits.

Sarah Hyland of “Modern Family” and Tyler Posey of “Teen Wolf” will host the ceremony, which is being held at the Shrine Auditorium after being forced from UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion, which sustained flood damage when a water main broke on Sunset Boulevard and spilled 20 million gallons onto the campus.

Demi Lovato, Rita Ora and Jason Derulo are among those expected to perform at the event.

The ceremony will include honors in a host of movie and television categories, including some off-beat entries.

Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans are nominated for “choice liplock” for their on-screen smooch in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” They are facing some tough competition from Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson from “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort in “The Fault in Our Stars” and the trio of Emma Roberts, Jennifer Aniston and Will Poulter for “We’re The Millers.”

Godzilla — the monster — has a nomination for best hissy fit in “Godzilla” — the movie. Also nominated are Kevin Hart for “Ride Along,” Jason Sudeikis for “We’re the Millers” and both Jonah Hill and Ice Cube for “22 Jump Street.”

The show also features awards for television, sports and online programming. There are also a smattering of unclassified categories, such as “choice smile,” which is a battle among Selena Gomez, Austin Mahone, Demi Lovato, Harry Styles and Taylor Swift.

Here is a complete list of nominations:
