Police today arrested a 39-year-old man at a Bel Air Estates residence and various media outlets reported the home was that of Sandra Bullock and the Academy Award-winning actress was inside at the time.
Officers responded at 6:30 a.m. to a “hot prowler” call and arrested Joshua Corbett, Los Angeles police Officer Nuria Vanegas said.
Vanegas would not confirm the residence was Bullock’s, but several media outlets reported it was and the popular star of such hit movies as Gravity and Speed was at home at the time.
Vanegas did not know if Corbett, who was booked on suspicion of residential burglary, made it inside the home.
She said at least one person was inside the residence at the time of the alleged burglary.
Police were investigating if Corbett was stalking the popular actress, according to NBC4.
Corbett was booked at the LAPD’s West Los Angeles Station jail, with bail set at $50,000, according to sheriff’s online booking records.
