Councilmember Tony Cárdenas, CD6, will host Luigi “Shorty†Rossi, star of the Animal Planet’s hit show, Pit Boss to host the 4th Annual Pet Care Fair at Lake Balboa’s Woodley Park, 6350 Woodley Avenue, Lake Balboa 91406
The 4th Annual Pet Care Fair is a free event open to families and their pets. In addition to the free spay, neutering and microchipping which will be available,pet training seminars, adoptions, low-cost pet care services (including grooming and vaccinations), pet boutique stores featuring the latest pet products and luxury items, and pet photographers will also be offered.
Councilmember Cárdenas and Shorty Rossi, known for his love for pit bulls, will demonstrate training techniques with his pet dog Hercules, star of Animal Planet’s upcoming movie “Hercules Saves Christmas.â€
Scheduled to join Councilmember Tony Cárdenas and Luigi “Shorty†Rossi are Assemblymember Bob Blumenfield, LA Animal Services, Pet Orphans of Southern California, and the Amanda Foundation. Some of the vendors participating in the event are AAA Dog Training, Ain’t Misbehavin’ K9, Pet- Pac, Buddha Dog Animal Massage, and Cuddley Pooch Boutique.
All of this family and pet friendly fun will occur on Saturday, June 25, 2011; 10 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. with the councilmember’s program from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
