Sor Tino restaurant on Barrington Ave just south of San Vicente is fabulous. It’s your kitchen away from your kitchen.
Two years ago Sor Tino took over the location from Rosti. Sor Tino dishes out consistently tasty food with a flair and an aroma that is decidedly Italian.
For lunch or dinner Sor Tino is fantastic. Their Arugula and shaved parmesan salad with mushrooms is to die for, their prosciutto is fantastic and their Pomodoro et Mozzarella is mouth watering every time.
Risotto and pasta are consistently tasty, while fish and meat are grilled or sautéed to perfection. Their desserts are light and fun. The perfect cap to a good meal.
Take your kids for an early dinner and sit outside. They’ll wolf up the Spaghetti Bolognese and you can have a salad and a glass of respectable wine for the same price as if you were to buy dinner groceries at Vicente Foods. (No offense to Vicente Foods, which we love).
Take your girlfriend for a birthday lunch and sit on the patio for a feel more akin to Ojai then Brentwood. And for dinner, well, Sor Tino is a neighborhood favorite. Whether for a quick dinner or a planned evening, Sor Tino is sure to deliver the ambience and the food to send you home smiling.
