The 2008-2009 Brentwood School Yearbook, Aerie, won the National Scholastic Press Association Pacemaker Award, awarded to the top yearbooks in the country based on theme/concept, coverage, design, writing, and photography. There were 52 finalists for the Pacemaker this year and the Aerie was one of 15 that came home with the prize. Advisor Mark Novom, along with several Aerie staff members, attended the NSPA Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, this past weekend to accept the award. This win marks the second time Brentwood School has won a Pacemaker. The first time was in 1997.
