Come take me home! LAAnimalServices.com

Tired of leaving your dog at home on the weekend while you enjoy Beverly Hills? Looking for a fun thing to do in a place where you and your dog are both welcome?

Here it is! On Sunday, March 15, 2009, Beverly Hills, CA will host an afternoon of fun for you and your entire family, including your dog!

Finally – an event where your dog is not only welcome, your dog is the guest of honor!

You and your dog are invited to “Woofstock 90210,†Beverly Hills’ first annual dog event. Come to Roxbury Park’s Wiggly Field, 471 South Roxbury Drive & Olympic, Beverly Hills, CA, 90212, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, admission is free.

Sunday street parking is easy, and additional free parking is available across the street at Beverly Hills High School with free shuttle service over to the park. Your dog is welcome on the shuttle! Fun to do, a first for Fido to ride on public transportation as a special guest of Beverly Hills!

Cindy Brynan & Barbara Rosenman from Beverly Hills Community Service Department meet with Bill Crowe, of “Pets 90210† to plan “Woofstock 90210â€

What’s to do at “Woofstock 90210?†You and Fido will enjoy a fun day including participating in our dog parade. For a small fee, sign up your dog for the best costume, cutest, “looks-most-like-its- owner†and many more fun categories. Emceed by noted actor and humorist, Jack Riley.

Here’s a rare opportunity! If your dog has a special problem you can explain it to a producer of Cesar Millan’s “Dog Whisperer†TV show for show consideration!

Is your dog ready for its close up? You can have your dog auditioned by “LaPAWS†animal talent agency!

For a small donation to “Actors and Others for Animals†you and your dog can take a photo with a member of their team, including President JoAnne Worley, who will be there with her celebrity friends who support this foundation.

Have lunch in the park, provided by local food vendors, while you watch agility course demonstrations and City of Beverly Hills Police K9 Unit demonstrations. Enjoy live music from “Muttly Crew†as you stroll by several pet merchandise retail booths.

Meet other people who, like you, love their dogs and won’t think you’re crazy! Singles, bring your dog, meet someone who cares as much about his or her dog as you do yours.

Don’t have a dog yet? Want to adopt? Come have “Pets 90210†introduce you to dogs and cats available through LA Animal Services. Take a look at www.LAAnimalServices.com.

Check the March events calendar at www.BeverlyHills.org or phone 310.285.6830. for more information. In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled for Sunday, March 29, 2009.
