The new, magnificent Montage Beverly Hills will open this November. The extraordinary structure has had buzz around it from its inception, and, for months, curious Beverly Hills residents and tourists alike have been gazing at the building process between Canon and Beverly Drives.
Many things make the Montage unique, but its greatest asset, by far, is Managing Director Ali Kasikci, winner of many hospitality awards throughout the world; a man known for his perfectionism, superb taste and personalized service.
For the past 16 years, Kasikci ran the Peninsula Beverly Hills and led it to several AAA Five Diamond Awards. Kasikci has established himself as a friend and supporter to the dignitaries, corporate leaders and celebrities all over the world, as well as our residents in the southland. The Peninsula Hotel, because of Ali Kasikci, was thought of as “home†for all of us, and now Montage Beverly Hills is our new haven.
Kasikci’s community-mindedness drove the Spanish Revival design of the hotel to reflect the heritage of Beverly Hills, its traditional estates of the 1920s and 1930s and the Beverly Hills City Hall. He never wanted it to be a “new attraction.†He wanted it to look like a monument to our history, one that is elegant and comfortable.
“We are building a family, one guest at a time,†said Kasikci. “Our service and facility will be among the finest in the world. It is our goal to be important to our destination guests as well as the Beverly Hills community. We will bring new income to all the surrounding businesses, offer extraordinary meeting and catering facilities, and present a home for creating memories with your family.â€
Montage Beverly Hills will have a sensational rooftop pool of glass mosaic tile with mother-of-pearl finish, inlayed one piece at a time, overlooking downtown Los Angeles and the Hollywood Hills, the Conservatory Bar and Grill restaurant, and a Conservatory for private events. In addition there will be the Lobby Lounge, the restaurant Parq, showcasing authentic hand-painted Portuguese tiles available for inside or outside seating, and Muse, the private 44-seat dining room for gourmet food and wine dinners.
“In cooperation with the city, we have built a beautiful park concourse that stretches from Canon to Beverly Drive, and a number of our Parq tables will be outside, creating an almost Champs Elysee environment right here in our wonderful city,†continued Kasikci. “I’m also very proud of our spa, a two-story oasis featuring a co-ed mineral pool, and the most luxurious treatment rooms, dressing rooms, and relaxing lounges with fireplaces ever seen.â€
The phone lines are already ringing like church bells to book events, rooms and private parties. The opening of Montage Beverly Hills will usher in a glorious new era. We can’t wait.
