Former NBA All-Star turned basketball analyst Chris Webber has put his Malibu home on the market, according to a post on Zillow.com.

Located on Big Rock Drive near Moonshadows at the eastern edge of Malibu and a short drive to the Getty Villa in Pacific Palisades, Webber is asking for $3.995 million.

According to a post on Zillow.com, Webber purchased the home in 2007 for $3.75 million.

A listing on ZipRealty.com points out the home was put on the market Feb. 20.

“Located behind gates, in the close-in area known as Big Rock, this stunning Architectural Ocean View home offers you a welcoming feeling of privacy, luxury and relaxation,” the listing states. “Enjoy the 180 degree coastline views from Santa Monica Bay to Point Dume which are visible from open living areas, garden/lawn area and great wrap-around deck.”

The home, which sits on a 28,509 square-foot lot, also features a living room with walls of glass, wood floors, stone counters, electronic shades, private office space, a den area, lap pool, and spa.

Beyond amenities, the home features three bedrooms and three bathrooms within 2,910 square feet. The home was built in 1995.

According to Zillow.com, Webber collaborated with Alicia LaMar to design the home.

Interesting side note: ZipRealty.com states the home has a walkability score of 11 out of 100, making it a car-dependent home.

The closest grocery store is Amazing Taste Foods (two miles away), while Topanga Learn-Charter elementary is the nearest school (3.5 miles away). Big Rock Beach and Moonshadows are both less than one mile away from the home. The Getty Villa is 3.3 miles to the east, according to ZipRealty.com.

Webber reported turned 40 on March 1. Currently, Webber analyzes NBA games on TNT’s Inside The NBA, which is hosted by Ernie Johnson and features a panel of former professional basketball players such as Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith. The program airs on TNT on during NBA games televised on the cable network.

Prior to joining TNT, Webber spent 15 years in the NBA as a player. Originally from the Detroit, Mich., area, Webber was part of the famous “Fab Five” at the University of Michigan between 1991 and 1993.

In 1993, Webber left Michigan to join the NBA, where he was the top pick selected by the Orlando Magic in the amateur draft. He was immediately traded to the Golden State Warriors, where he spent his rookie season. He then played for the Washington Wizards, Sacramento Kings, Philadelphia 76ers, and Detroit Pistons before retiring in 2008 as a member of the Golden State Warriors.

Webber was Mr. Basketball of Michigan when he finished high school in 1991. In the NBA, Webber was the league’s top rookie in 1994 and a five-time all-star. The Sacramento Kings retired his jersey.
