Did you vote?…and thank you! Of course you did!
And your vote counted!
Betsy Butler lost her Assembly District race by only 218 votes out of 138,342 votes cast! (Some absentee and provisional ballots have yet to be counted and final results will be available in early December.)

But fasten your seatbelts…our local elections will surely begin to ramp up soon with a new Mayor, Councilmember and City Attorney to be elected. So enjoy the quiet for awhile…it will end soon!
On a personal note, I want to thank all of you who responded to my email about my husband’s need for a kidney. I so appreciate your good wishes and prayers and requests for updates on his situation. I even heard from one possible donor and from a gentleman who had a successful kidney transplant at UCLA!
Elliot’s doctor, Dr. Anjay Rastogi, has offered to directly assist anyone who may be interested in becoming a donor. He can be best reached by email at ARastogi@mednet.ucla.edu.
As the holidays begin…why am I always surprised to see Christmas decorations the day after Halloween?…we remember what is really important….friends, family, and good health!
Best, Marylin Krell
