The Los Angeles Kings will conduct a Halloween costume contest at Saturday’s game against the Nashville Predators at Staples Center.
The team is encouraging fans to dress up in their scariest, silliest or “Kingsiest” costume, with the best and most creative person winning a team- signed jersey, a team official said.
All fans in attendance will receive a reusable grocery bag suitable for trick-or-treating use.
The team is offering a ticket package that includes a hot dog, soda and box of Red Vines candy beginning at $45. The ticket package can be purchased online at lakings.com/familypack or by calling (888) KINGS-LA until two hours before the game.
The game is expected to sell out. The Kings have sold out their last 167 regular-season and playoff games at Staples Center, a team record.
