Four people, including an alleged DUI driver, suffered minor injuries in a multiple-vehicle crash on Kanan Road in an unincorporated area near Agoura Hills, authorities said.
The crash near Camino Tranquil was reported at 7:41 p.m. Sunday, according to Miguel Ornelas, supervising dispatcher with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The man suspected of driving under the influence was northbound on Kanan Road approaching a tunnel when he swerved off the road onto the dirt shoulder, then back onto the roadway, said the California Highway Patrol. His vehicle then rotated about 180 degrees and crossed over the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic, striking a southbound Toyota, the CHP said.
Thirty-six-year-old Malibu resident Johanna Krause and her two daughters were transported to Northridge Hospital with what turned out to be minor injuries, according to the CHP.
Thirty-year-old Joshua Maquindang of Canyon Country was transported to Los Robles Hospital for treatment of his minor injuries, then booked at the Sheriff’s Malibu Station, the CHP said.
