Warren Moon was honored at The Unstoppable Foundation’s gala in Century City on Saturday night.

It was a spectacular night of NFL stars, Olympic athletes, and celebrities at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Century City on Saturday. They all gathered together on this festive evening to promote a good cause, and to have a good time.

The Unstoppable Foundation celebrates global access to education and a future to children in need. Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon was at the event to receive the 2015 Unstoppable Achievement Award.

Moon started his pro football career in Canada and later became an NFL superstar as the quarterback of the Houston Oilers. He played for several other teams and retired after 17 years in the NFL with many passing records and nearly 50,000 passing yards.

Moon was selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006.

Several other NFL greats were also in attendance, including former standout tight end Tony Gonzalez, who served as the co-chairman of the Gala. Other co-chairs were philanthropist and entertainer Shawn King and actor Malcolm Jamal Warner.

The celebrity list of attendees included actress Dyan Cannon, actor Ernie Hudson (“Ghostbusters”), and Academy Award nominee Edward James Olmos.

Legendary boxing promoter Don King created quite a buzz when he made a special appearance to the gala, drawing big crowds around him throughout the night.

The event started with appearances by athletes and celebrities on the red carpet inside the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza. Following a short social hour, guests then were treated to dinner in the beautiful large ballroom of the hotel. There was plenty of musical entertainment throughout the night.

The Unstoppable Foundation was created by author and visionary Cynthia Kersey. Her dream was to create transformation on a global scale by igniting a social movement of individuals, organizations and partnerships who are committed to ensuring that every child receives access to an education.

The Unstoppable Foundation was established in 2008. It is a non-profit humanitarian organization bringing sustainable education to children and communities in developing countries to create a safer and better world for everyone.
