The 34th annual Century City golf tournament took place Friday, Sept. 5 and served as a major fundraiser for the Century City Chamber of Commerce. With a raffle, silent auction, provided lunch and dinner, and a handful of other activities on top of the sport of golf itself, the tournament made for a fun-filled day for all of the community members involved.
The tournament was held at the beautiful and expansive 18-hole Robinson Ranch in Santa Clarita, with its green golf courses accommodating about 120 golfers partaking in the annual tournament.
The dinner, awards presentation, silent auction, and a raffle wrapped up the jam-packed day of events, with participants leaving the tournament with a versatility of prizes, from vacation packages to sports memorabilia. The raffle’s grand prize was revealed to be a big-screen television.
As for the anticipated helicopter ball drop, the Century City Chamber of Commerce’s immediate past chair, Owen Fileti of L.A. Realty Partners, won the $1,000 cash prize.
The top three foursomes were presented with bronze trophies, with ABM Industries, Inc. earning first place, Curcio Enterprizes winning second place, and Shlemmer + Algaze + Associates (SAA) coming in as third place.
