The father of Nicole Brown Simpson, the slain ex-wife of imprisoned former football player O.J. Simpson, has died at his home in Dana Point, it was reported yesterday.
According to media reports, Louis Brown died Thursday with his family, including his wife Juditha, at his side. He was 90.
A cause of death was not disclosed.
Brown was a former World War II aviator.
His daughter and her friend Ronald Goldman were knifed to death in 1994 and Simpson was acquitted the following year in what was dubbed the trial of the century, a televised spectacle that drew viewers worldwide.
He is now imprisoned in Nevada, serving a sentence for robbery and kidnapping.
Brown’s and Goldman’s families were awarded $33.5 million in damages in a civil suit when a jury found in 1997 that Simpson was liable for the deaths.
