Century City Chamber is calling for Women Of Achievement nominations.
The Century City Chamber of Commerce Women’s Business Council (WBC) will hold the 2017 Women of Achievement awards on Sept. 21 at 5:30 p.m. at the InterContinental Hotel.
The Chamber is seeking nominations for this esteemed award. Nominees must be a Century City Chamber of Commerce member or work/own a business that is located in Century City. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded woman who demonstrates an ability to not only excel in her career, but contributes to the community through philanthropy and civic involvement. The nominee should be in her industry for a minimum of five years, and be a role model to other women attempting to advance their career in a similar manner. Nominees must be able to attend the Awards Dinner on September 21. Former honorees are not eligible.
The WBC reviews the submissions and selects five professional career women who embody a devotion to making their communities stronger; a commitment to mentoring other women in their careers; and a dedication to raising funds and awareness for a multitude of non-profit and charitable organizations.
The keynote speaker will be Amy Ziering, an internationally recognized two-time Emmy Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated documentary filmmaker. Her most recent film, “The Hunting Ground”, is an exposé of rape culture on college campuses.
Individual tickets and corporate tables are available at multiple sponsorship levels.
