Back in June, Century City News wrote about the latest new 40-story development at 10000 Santa Monica Blvd. entitled Ten Thousand and how it is one of the priciest rental properties in the city.
The building is expected to officially open in January 2017, with the cheapest apartments renting for $8,500 per month, while a top floor penthouse will set you back a cool $25,000 per month. In addition, many of the apartments will offer private balconies and all have designer kitchens, stone finishes, open floor plans, spacious California closets, and two-and-a-half baths.
The building also offers access to 75,000 square feet of amenities including a 75-foot lap pool with underwater speakers, a sauna, fitness center, spa, private screening room, tennis court, a kid’s studio and even a pet spa.
The latest addition to ultimate city dwelling in the complex is a robot which will take deliveries directly to tenants’ doorsteps. The robot is called Relay, and is the brainchild of Savioke, a local robotics company and will be able to navigate and operate the complex’s elevators.
In order to summon the robot, residents will use an app to order their goods and services. The requests will be fulfilled by butlers (because yes, the complex offers butlers), who will put the products in compartment built into the robot before being delivered to the residents’ apartments.
