A 78-year-old man who had last been seen 15 days ago in Marina del Rey was located safe Thursday hours after the sheriff’s department put out a call for the public’s help in locating him, authorities said Thursday.
Howard Bruce Vein had last been seen about 8 a.m. March 30 leaving the marina area in a silver 2007 Saturn Aura XE, according to Deputy Trina Schrader of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The sheriff’s department announced this evening that Vein had been found safe “in the LA area” after callers reported seeing him.
No details were released about precisely when or where he was found.
