British actress Talulah Riley today filed divorce papers to end her marriage to tech billionaire Elon Musk.
According to a joint statement, the divorce is amicable. Musk and Riley have been separated for six months and say they will remain friends.
Riley’s filing in Los Angeles Superior Court marks the second effort to end the pair’s second marriage to each other.
Musk, 44, filed for divorce in December 2014 but withdrew the petition seven months later.
Riley, 30, and Musk first married in 2010 and divorced in 2012. They re- married 18 months later.
Musk, who co-founded Paypal, founded and runs two tech companies, Tesla Motors and SpaceX.
Tesla builds and markets fully-electric vehicles and SpaceX designs, manufactures and launches advanced rockets and spacecraft.
