Caitlyn Jenner and the stepchildren of a woman killed in a chain reaction crash last year in Malibu have settled the plaintiffs’ lawsuit.
Dana Redmond and William Howe, the stepchildren of 69-year-old Kim Howe, sued Jenner last May, alleging he was negligent in the Feb. 7, 2015, crash.
Lawyers for the plaintiffs filed court papers on Tuesday asking that the case — originally filed in Los Angeles Superior Court and transferred later to Santa Monica Superior Court — be dismissed.
Terms were not disclosed.
Jenner was still known as Bruce Jenner at the time of the accident and was sued under that name. The former Olympian, while driving a Cadillac Escalade on Pacific Coast Highway, rear-ended Howe, whose car was pushed into the path of an oncoming Hummer, according to sheriff’s deputies.
Howe died at the scene.
After hitting Howe, Jenner’s SUV then hit the back of a black Prius driven by Hollywood agent Jessica Steindorff.
Jenner, 66, was not charged with any criminal offenses.
