Police today sought the public’s help in locating a 2-year-old girl who went missing Christmas Eve in the midst of a supervised visitation with her father at The Grove.
The person supervising the visitation of Lucia Perry and her father lost sight of them about 5 p.m. Thursday at the shopping center, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The LAPD circulated a photo of the toddler, who is white, 2-feet, 6- inches tall with blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing pink sweatpants, a yellow T-shirt and hot pink Nike shoes, said Officer Ricky Hernandez of the LAPD’s Media Relations Section.
The child’s 31-year-old father, Jack Perry, was described as white, 6- foot-1 and 190 pounds, with brown eyes and a light beard. He is a resident of the Hollywood/Beverly Hills area, and the child’s mother lives in the San Fernando Valley, said Lt. Jim Gavin of the LAPD’s Van Nuys station.
Van Nuys station detectives asked anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Lucia Perry to call them at (818) 374-1913.
