Warm ocean water and warm temperatures were factors at the 29th annual Nautica Malibu Triathlon presented by Equinox today.
More than 5,000 participants swam in 68 degree water at Zuma Beach, and encountered air in the 80 degree neighborhood as they rode bicycles and then ran up and down Pacific Coast Highway at Trancas.
More than $1.3 million was raised to support the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles’ Pediatric Cancer Research Program.
