Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Alexander Stettinski has just announced his resignation for a new role at Visit West Hollywood.

The Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Executive Director Alexander Stettinski, effective later this month. Stettinski began his tenure with the Chamber in June of 2011, and has recently accepted a new role at Visit West Hollywood starting the end of July.

During the past four years, the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce has experienced tremendous success, including new state-of-the-art offices, enhanced signature events and new programs, and a strong relationship with the City. Membership has grown from 590 members to 850 members, and the Chamber’s own 1,000 member goal is well within reach. “Alex has been an asset to the organization,” says Kelly Scott, Partner at Ervin, Cohen & Jessup and President of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, “and his vision and leadership helped transform the organization into what it is today: one of the most successful Chambers in the nation. We will miss him and wish him well in his new assignment.”

“It was a most difficult decision to leave an organization that is nothing short of spectacular. We had an incredible four years together, and I am the luckiest guy in the world to have had the privilege to work with such a powerful Board, an incredibly talented staff, and a community so supportive of the Chamber’s efforts,” says Alex Stettinski.

The Board of Directors has formed a search committee, which is currently identifying a successor. “With every change there is an opportunity. We are using this change to focus on a new leadership structure, which will emphasize sponsorship cultivation and member engagement while continuing to provide world-class events and business services,” adds Scott.

An announcement regarding the new Executive Director will be made shortly.

The Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce has served as the voice of the Beverly Hills community since 1923. The organization is committed to promoting local businesses and consistently advocates for Beverly Hills’ economic interests. The Chamber’s diverse members form a community of savvy innovators and business leaders who are committed to ensuring that the Beverly Hills economy thrives.
