City Councilmember Mike Bonin and Los Angeles Fire Department Fire Chief Ralph Terrazas will host a media conference on Wednesday afternoon to discuss new technology being used by LA’s firefighters that will help prevent fires as the Fourth of July approaches.
Bonin, who has championed equipping LA’s firefighters with tablet technology, and Chief Terrazas will demonstrate two new apps firefighters are using to both fight and prevent fires in Los Angeles and will additionally answer questions about fire safety during Fourth of July celebrations.
