Fans of magazine art and photography are in for a treat this weekend as the Annenberg Space for Photography will be hosting an exclusive Q&A session, book signing, and meet-and-greet with award-winning portrait photographer Lynn Goldsmith. It will be held at the museum’s Skylight Studios this Saturday, March 28 from 1 pm to 3 pm.

Anyone who has gazed over magazine stands may have already witnessed some of Goldsmith’s works.

According to the Annenberg Space for Photography, Goldsmith has more than 40 years of experience in photography, with her work appear on and between the covers of Life, Newsweek, Time, Rolling Stone, Sports Illustrated, People, Elle, Interview, and the New Yorker, among others.

Goldsmith is also no stranger to prominent museums. Her photography has been featured in an assortment of collections and exhibitions throughout the country, including at the Smithsonian, Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art, Kodak Collection, and Polaroid Collection.

“The Annenberg Space for Photography has had a longstanding affiliation with Lynn Goldsmith, which started with the exhibit ‘Who Shot Rock & Roll,’” said Carmen Laumen, general manager of the Annenberg Foundation. “Lynn was a featured photographer in the exhibit.”

Goldsmith has also presented a lecture as part of the Iris Nights series and “was kind enough to do a meet-and-greet that year to talk about her photographic experiences,” Laumen said.

As a New York Times best-selling author, Goldsmith will also be signing her book “Rock & Roll” this weekend in Century City.

“We found [Goldsmith] to be very popular with the Photography Space audience,” Laumen explained. “After all, who doesn’t like a photographer of rock and roll?”

Skylight Studios is located at 10050 Constellation Boulevard in Century City.

The Annenberg Space for Photography is located at 2000 Avenue of the Stars in Century City.
