Utility crews were working today to restore power to about 2,100 customers in various parts of Los Angeles County.
As of 6 a.m., there were 1,497 customers without electricity in county areas served by Southern California Edison, including about 656 in Alhambra, 137 in Beverly Hills, and 115 in Rosemead, the utility reported.
In the city of Los Angeles, there were 630 customers without electricity as of 6 a.m., the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power reported.
Around 5 p.m. Tuesday, there were about 4,500 LADWP customers without power, about 1,000 of them in Encino.
In Southern California Edison’s service area in various parts of the county, about 4,000 customers were without electricity shortly after 10 a.m. Tuesday, but by 5 p.m., that number had dropped to 1,667 customers.
