A woman arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on Monday after she stowed away on a Southwest Airlines flight from San Jose to Los Angeles was arrested again today at LAX, authorities said.

Marilyn Jean Hartman, 62, pleaded no contest Wednesday to a misdemeanor charge as part of her sentence and was ordered to stay away from LAX unless she had a valid flight ticket.

About 11:15 this morning, Hartman was arrested by airport police near Terminal 7 and was taken to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Pacific Station jail for “pre-booking procedures,” said airport police Sgt. Belinda Nettles.

An afternoon news conference was planned at the airport to release other details of the case.

On Monday night, Hartman was arrested at LAX after taking a flight from San Jose without a ticket or boarding pass.

On Wednesday, she pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of entering the city as a stowaway, and she was immediately sentenced to three days in jail — amounting to credit for time she has already served — and two years probation, according to Frank Mateljan of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.

Hartman was also ordered to stay away from LAX unless she is validly ticketed to fly, Mateljan said. Hartman previously breached security at San Francisco International Airport on three occasions while trying to board flights to Hawaii, according to media reports.
