The Los Angeles Dodgers will conduct their 15th annual Jewish Community Day today, including selling kosher dogs, jalapeno kosher dogs and Italian beef sausages in the field reserve section.

Elliott Yamin, who finished third in the 2006 season of the Fox singing competition “American Idol,” will sing the national anthem before the game against the National League champion St. Louis Cardinals.

Also in connection with Jewish Community Day, the Dodgers offered discounted tickets in the reserve MVP and preferred reserve sections that included the first baseball cap where Dodgers was written in Hebrew.

Davis and Johnson will also sign autographs in the Stadium Club from approximately 1:30-2 p.m., along with Lee Lacy, a Dodger second baseman and outfielder from 1972-78.

U.S. Army Command Master Sgt. Larry Montes will be honored as the Veteran of the Game. Montes enlisted in 1978 and is assigned to the 104th Regiment, 7th Battalion in Bell.

Montes has served deployments in support of Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield and to Balad, Iraq. His accolades include the Bronze Star and Army Achievement Medal.

Dodger Stadium’s auto gates will open at 10:30 a.m. and its stadium gates at 11 a.m. for the 1:10 p.m. game.
