Local charity Face Forward which provides pro bono reconstructive surgery for women and children fleeing abusive relationships is using Mother’s Day to create a unique fundraiser.
Face Forward is asking everyone to donate a dollar to the organization in honor of every women you love. Donate five dollars and honor a best friend, a sibling and maybe even a daughter — it’s a good cause and a heck of a lot better than a rubber chicken dinner.
