Countdown to the 30th Annual SAG Awards: Celebrating Excellence in Film and TV

SAG Awards Ceremony Set for Feb. 24, 2024, to be Globally Streamed on Netflix

The anticipation for the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards is building as the date of the ceremony approaches. The SAG Awards will be held this Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. and the awards ceremony will be streamed globally on Netflix. The Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall will serve as the venue for this milestone event, produced by Silent House Productions in collaboration with SAG-AFTRA.

The multifaceted Barbra Streisand will receive the prestigious SAG Life Achievement Award for her outstanding career achievements and humanitarian contributions. This acknowledgment will be presented during the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony.

The SAG Awards hold a special place in the awards season, recognizing exceptional performances in motion pictures and television from the previous calendar year (SAG Awards Eligibility Period: January 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023). Unlike other major industry honors, the SAG Awards are uniquely determined by the votes of performers’ peers in SAG-AFTRA, with 119,515 eligible voters. The final voting period commences on Wednesday, Jan. 17, concluding at Noon PT on Friday, Feb. 23.
