Three Los Angeles-area lawmakers are scheduled to address the Democratic National Convention today in Philadelphia, the party announced today.
U.S. Representatives Maxine Waters of Los Angeles, Adam Schiff of Burbank and Judy Chu of Monterey Park are all included in the program for the third night of the four-day gathering.
Also scheduled to address the convention tonight are California Gov. Jerry Brown and the state’s lieutenant governor, Gavin Newsom.
Rep. Linda Sanchez of Norwalk, state Sen. Kevin De Leon and Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis spoke to the convention on Monday.
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti is schedule to speak on Thursday.
Solis and Waters are among six co-chairs of the convention.
Speaking dates were not announced for Los Angeles-area Reps. Xavier Becerra and Ted Lieu.
