“Quantico,” the first-year ensemble drama about a diverse group of FBI recruits, was among 15 series whose renewals for the 2016- 17 season were announced Thursday by ABC.
Of the the five series that premiered on ABC last fall, the dramas “Blood & Oil” and “Wicked City” have been canceled and the comedy “The Muppets,” aired its final episode of the 2015-16 season Tuesday and is expected to be canceled.
ABC’s only first-year fall series whose fate is undecided is the comedy “Dr. Ken.”
The other series whose renewals were announced Thursday were “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” “The Bachelor,” “black-ish,” “Dancing with the Stars,” “Fresh Off the Boat,” “The Goldbergs,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “How to Get Away with Murder,” “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “The Middle,” “Modern Family,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Scandal” and “Shark Tank.”
