The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped 3.5 cents Sunday to its lowest amount since April 24, $3.359.
The average price has dropped 29 of the past 30 days, decreasing 53 cents, including 1.9 cents on Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 12.4 cents less than one week ago, 49.9 cents lower than one month ago and 44 cents below what it was one year ago.
The Orange County average price dropped 2.8 cents today to $3.297, its lowest amount since April 23.
The Orange County average price has also dropped 29 of the past 30 days, decreasing 53.8 cents, including 2.7 cents on Saturday. It is 12 cents less than one week ago, 52.6 cents lower than one month ago and 46.8 cents below what it was one year ago.
