A man was killed in a shooting in South Los Angeles on Saturday.
Officers were dispatched about 6 p.m. to the intersection of 88th Place and Wall Street. Los Angeles police Sgt. Sam Yin said.
The victim, about 25 or 30 years old, was struck in the head and pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
A firearm was recovered but no suspect information was immediately available, Yin said.
It was unclear if the shooting was gang-related, Yin said.
