- Australia Rocks the Pier with Ben Browning of Cut Copy and DMA’S: As part of the 31st annual Twilight Concert Series at the Santa Monica Pier. Free music begins at 7 pm Thursday, Aug. 6.
- Hurray for the Riff Raff: At the Skirball Cultural Center for the 19th season of its annual Sunset Concerts. Come out for the free show on Thursday, Aug. 6, at 8 pm.
- Dwight Yoakum with X: Presented by KCRW and the Annenberg Space for Photography in Century City Park. This free show opens doors at 5 pm on Saturday, Aug. 8.
- Alt 98.7 Summer Camp with Matt and Kim: The all-ages event at the Santa Monica Pier begins at 4 pm on Saturday, Aug. 8. Buy tickets ahead of time.
