Westfield Century City partnered with Bright Pink for their second annual VIPiNK Weekend, which was held Saturday and Sunday, raising more than $10,000 for the organization.
Bright Pink is a national non-profit organization that supports breast and ovarian health in young women.
This was a nationwide initiative and locally, Westfield Topanga and Westfield Century City hosted special events on the weekend to support the organization.
Westfield Century City celebrated the partnership with “SaturYAY” – a pop-up lounge curated by LUX/EROS with Market and DIY Workshops showcasing local and artisanal goods, and swoon-worthy service provided by ManServants.
As part of Westfield’s VIPiNK Weekend, a portion of all proceeds benefited Bright Pink in support of breast and ovarian health.
The event featured DIY craft stations including an Alissa Bell Press handmade card workshop, Erin Ferro driftwood wall hanging workshop and Juniper + Fir macramé hanging planter workshop.
Shoppers also got the chance to attend a tarot card reading from Sees & Says and peruse the marketplace for Sandoval Home aromatics and culinary gift boxes from Valleybrink Road.
Melanie Bender, Senior Marketing Director at Westfield Century City, said the weekend events were a big success.
“We were overwhelmed by the support our events received from retailers, partners and our shoppers, and are thrilled to announce that we’re on track to raise over $10,000,” Bender said. “If anyone would like to join us in supporting Bright Pink, we’ll be accepting donations through today, May 8, at Guest Services or by calling 310.277.3898.”
