The blizzard in the Northeast led to 106 flight cancellations at Los Angeles International Airport this morning, authorities said.
As of 8 a.m., 55 arrivals and 51 departures had been canceled, said Marshall Lowe of Los Angeles World Airports.
Travelers were urged to consult their airlines for specific flight information.
Coastal areas from New Jersey to Maine were beset by heavy snow and blizzard conditions beginning Monday because of a “nor’easter,” although the storm was less severe than had been anticipated.
