A water main break knocked out some water service today at Los Angeles International Airport.
The problem was reported about 10 a.m., and affected some terminals and other facilities in the central terminal area, said Marshall Lowe of Los Angeles World Airports.
Emergency repair crews were notified, Lowe said.
Lowe said he did not know the extent of the problem. Some passengers at the airport posted on Twitter that bathrooms were not working, and some of the restaurants also lost water service.
According to Airport Police, Parking Structure 2 at the airport was closed due to a “utility problem.”
