A strike by a pilots’ union prompted cancellation today of three departing Lufthansa flights from Los Angeles International Airport.
According to Lufthansa, the airline is working “to devise special timetables” in response to the strike by its Vereinigung Cockpit pilots’ union.
The flight schedules will be available on the www.LH.com website.
“The special timetables are … intended to ensure that Lufthansa services can be returned to normal once the strike is over,” the airline said.
According to the airline, the strike began at 4 a.m. California time, and it is scheduled to end at 2:59 p.m. Tuesday.
