Creator Matt Groening said having “The Simpsons” at the Hollywood Bowl was a dream come true.
“I’m going to be on stage tap dancing,” Groening said with a grin in a preview video on YouTube. “No, I won’t be doing that,” he joked.
Groening said there are going to be so many surprises, that he didn’t even know what they were yet.
Al Jean, an executive producer of “The Simpsons”, said the Hollywood Bowl was always a beautiful, magical setting.
“Everything that we’ve done we’ve approached from a viewpoint of what would fans want to see about the show and what would they like to see musically in connection with The Simpsons.”
Each evening will also feature fireworks.
