The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped one-tenth of a cent today to $3.83, one day after being unchanged.
The average price has decreased 55 times and was unchanged four times in the past 59 days, dropping to its lowest amount since Feb. 21, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is nine-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 13.1 cents lower than one month ago and 4 cents below what it was one year ago.
The Orange County average price dropped one-tenth of a cent today to $3.799, its lowest amount since Feb. 19. It has decreased 56 times in 59 days, dropping 36.7 cents, including two-tenths of a cent on Wednesday.
The Orange County average price is 1 cent less than one week ago, 12.8 cents lower than one month ago and 4.2 cents below what it was one year ago.
