Chicago Bulls forward Ronnie Brewer pleaded no contest Tuesday to a misdemeanor DUI charge stemming from a traffic stop in Beverly Hills in February.
Brewer, 29, entered the plea through his attorney to one count of driving with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher, according to Deputy District Attorney Stephanie Miyata.
Brewer also admitted an allegation that his blood-alcohol concentration was more than 0.15 percent, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
The charge stemmed from a Feb. 19 traffic stop near Wilshire Boulevard and Rodeo Drive.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Edward Moreton immediately sentenced Brewer to three years of summary probation, three months of alcohol abuse classes and ordered him to attend 10 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and to pay $390 in fines, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
