Police are looking for multiple suspects in a party bus stabbing that left two people hospitalized in the early hours of June 29.
A fight broke out on a privately rented bus with about 20 people on board in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles at 3:10 a.m. on Sunday morning, Los Angeles police Lt. Lonnie Tiano said.
The bus pulled over at 300 North La Brea Avenue, where passengers got off and continued the fight on the sidewalk, Tiano said.
The brawl involved broken bottles that were swung and wounded two people with deep cuts, he said.
The bus got going again and was pulled over by police officers several miles down La Brea Avenue in Inglewood, Tiano said.
Officers interviewed the passengers and concluded that an unknown number of suspects did not get back on the bus after it pulled over, he said.
Two people cut by the shards suffered non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
It was not reported where the party bus originally started or where it was ultimately headed.
